  • Parking is not available in the parking lots from 2-4 a.m. Parking enforcement will be monitoring and ticketing lots, however cars will not be towed. For your safety and convenience, we recommend utilizing transportation services or having a designated driver. Check out our “Hotels & Safe Rides” section for further details.

  • Unfortunately, RVs will not be permitted in the event lots. We suggest parking at a nearby campground and utilizing transportation services to and from the event. Explore our “Hotels & Safe Rides” section for more information

  • Due to the nature of the event, tailgating will not be permitted. Any individual who appears intoxicated will not be allowed to enter.

  • Due to alcohol consumption, the Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest is accessible only to those aged 21 and above.

  • Valid I.D. includes a valid state driver license with a photo, a valid I.D. card issued by a state, a valid passport, or a valid US military identification card.

  • No, the event will take place rain or shine. Beer tastes great in any weather!

  • Umbrellas are not permitted in Beaver Stadium. However, ponchos are a great hands-free alternative.

  • Yes! There will be opportunities on the field for other brewery products - root beer, kombucha, hop water, etc. Additionally, the concessions open on the concourse will be offering their typical selection of soft drinks.

  • HVBF aims to be an event dedicated to craft brews, so therefore only beers will be available for sampling.

  • Due to the nature of this event, no one under the age of 21 will be permitted, even small children. No exceptions will be made to ensure the safety of all attendees.

  • Smoking is prohibited inside and outside of Beaver Stadium. Penn State prohibits smoking and the use of all other tobacco products on all Penn State campuses.
